It is highly recommended, by Beauty Weavers, that if you are having treatments before a big event, you plan these to be performed 4 weeks in advanced. This gives you time to heal sufficiently and for the treatments to settle and achieve their best results.

Steph is available for follow up questions and support following your procedure. Feel free to contact her.

Following anti-wrinkle treatments a complimentary 2 week follow up appointment is included. Please take this into consideration when booking.

If you are pregnant, dermaplaning is the only treatment you can receive.

Dermal Fillers

What are dermal fillers and how do they work?

Beauty Weavers uses only the top products available to the profession. These are made from Hyaluronic acid (HA), which is produced naturally within the body, but decreases production as we age. Hyaluronic acid attracts water and helps re-hydrate the treated area. HA is a powerful antioxidant that helps give tissue protection. By injecting the product we can help bring back structure, volume and definition to the face and can also help us balance and improve any defects.

Hyaluronic acid is vegan, tried and tested, naturally reabsorbed by the body and can be dissolved.

What results will I see?

Visible results from dermal fillers will be immediate but will be enhanced by bruising and swelling for the first 1-2 weeks. Using a mix of arnica cream and cold compress will help both visibly and with any mild discomfort.

True results of the treatment will be seen around 2 weeks, after the product has had time to settle and heal.

Treatment last for 6-12 months depending on the treated area.

Dermaplaning

What is dermaplaning?

Using a sterile surgical blade the top layer of skin and the 'peach fuzz' (vellus) hairs on the face are 'shaved', which gives a manual exfoliation. The treatment removes dead skin cells and other debris leaving you with healthy, fresh and even skin.

Your practitioner will use products on your skin to ensure the best condition is achieved to perform this treatment and apply a moisturising cream afterwards. It is important to apply SPF following this procedure to protect your skin.

What results will I see?

The aims of dermaplaning are to improve fine wrinkles and deep acne scarring, as well as make the skin’s surface look smooth. Dermaplaning can improve the application of makeup as you now have a smoother, clean base to start on.

Dermaplaning is a safe procedure with no down time and the results are immediate. The skin may be slightly red following the procedure but this should settle by the next day.

A course of treatment is recommended  to maintain the effects and achieve the best result. A monthly treatment is highly recommended.

Chemical Peel

What is a chemical peel?

Chemical peels can be traced back through history. Remember the story of Cleopatra bathing in milk? That was a form of a chemical peel.

The peel range offered at Beauty Weavers is made of Glycolic acid, which is found naturally in sugar cane. Peels cause the skin to 'shed'. Which means in the days following your procedure your skin can peel. This reveals fresh, healthy skin underneath. The activating ingredients in the peel give a boost to your own skin production and with consistent treatments can help kick start a more healthy appearance.

What results will I see?

Following you chemical peel your skin can be red, but this should settle by the next day. The skin can begin to peel away from the treated area, most commonly on days 3-5 post procedure.

Chemical peels are targeted at improving rough texture, fine lines and wrinkles and blemishes.

If you have a known skin condition such as eczema, rosacea, dermatitis ect, chemical peels can still be offered to you. As your skin is already known to be sensitive, the peel may activate/irritate your condition in the short term, but a regular course of treatment can greatly improve overall skin condition in the long term.

Feel like giving your skin a real boost? Combine dermaplaning with a chemical peel to get the best result!

Micro-needling

What is microneedling?

Micro needling pierces and breaks the top layer of skin in a controlled manner using ‘micro needles’. This is done to take advantage of the skins natural healing process and triggering new collagen synthesis. Numbing cream is applied to the face to ensure you are comfortable throughout the procedure. Hyaluronic acid serum is used during the procedure, allowing it to permeate to deeper levels of your skin, nourishing and hydrating it.

What results will I see?

Immediately following the procedure, and for a few hours after, skin can be red and appear inflamed. This is completely normal and a natural and expected reaction to the procedure. This will settle quickly. A consistent regime of microneedling can help the appearance of skin texture, improve scars and reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

Anti Wrinkle Treatment

What are Anti-wrinkle treatments and how do they work?

Clostridium botulinum is an injectable medication that helps relax muscles. This causes a temporary reduction of wrinkles, and therefore improves the signs of aging. It blocks signals from the nerves to the muscles. The injected muscle can't contract. That makes wrinkles relax and soften.

Derived from the bacterium clostridium botulinum the toxin is only to be administered by fully trained professionals and with a prescription.

What results will I see?

The full effect of the treatment can be seen 2 weeks after the procedure, but you should start seeing a difference after 72 hours.

There is no downtime after this procedure, you will be able to return to your normal daily activities immediately.

Treatments can last from 3-4 months. A regular regime will improve longevity allowing for less need for treatments over time.

A consultation will need to be completed, in person with a prescriber, before the procedure is completed to obtain the necessary prescription. An appointment to carry out the procedure can then be made.

Beauty Weavers currently offers treatments to the upper face, forehead lines (must be combined with another treatment area), frown lines and crow's feet.
